Role Overview:
As a Fitter & Turner, in Valve manufacturing you will play a pivotal role in producing high-quality Valves through precision machining, meticulous assembly, and rigorous quality assurance. Your expertise and attention to detail contributes to the reliability and performance of Valves used in various industrial applications. You will experience a sense of confidence knowing that you are partnering with a trusted industry leader committed to excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precision fitting, assembly and turning operations on valve components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, ensuring accurate specifications are met
- Utilise machining tools and equipment to achieve high-quality finishes and tight tolerances.
- Collaborate seamlessly with our engineering team to ensure flawless project Valve execution.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet rigorous standards of performance and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machining equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues that arise with manufacturing machinery including lathes, milling machines and grinders.
- Design and fabricate specialised tooling, fixtures and jigs to aid in the machining and assembly of Valve components

- A mastery of machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders is essential.
- To be meticulous in machining and assembly tasks to ensure components meeting exacting standards and tolerances
