We are seeking an experienced trade qualified Machinists or CNC Programmer. Experience with a state of the art CNC lathe (Okuma LC20) highly desirable. Full training given if not.

Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values and culture – in addition to this you will have:
- A high level of machining experience, knowledge within the Valves or associated industry (pumping industry, pneumatics, hydraulics)
- Demonstrate a solid awareness of OH&S practices
- A commitment to working to a high standard
- Be motivated and punctual person
- Required to work in a team environment
- The ability to work unsupervised
- The desire to constantly improve and work towards a trade
- Preferred that you have a forklift licence
- Working with CNC heavy machinery from set up to operation to produce parts from metal
- Preparing programs for parts in accordance with relevant mechanical specifications and machine input requirements
- Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the required product by reading mechanical drawings and instructions
- Ensure machine is cleaned and maintained
- Ensure workplace is clean and clear for effective and safe production
- Ensure a positive work environment for your contribution, output and team
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equiv.
- Control speed, material feed and path of operation to ensure quality product
- Strong organisational skills
- Preferred CNC Programming Experience
- Attention to detail
