Queensland Sales 

We have a new opportunity for a competitive, results-driven Queensland Sales Team Member, with a never quit attitude to join the team in our Queensland area on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a dynamic role; it will never leave you feeling bored and has high potential for growth.

John Valves has been in operation for over 125 years, we have built a reputation for ourselves as one of Australia’s leading Valve manufacturers and suppliers in Australia. We service areas Australia-wide, from Victoria to Queensland, Western Australia to Tasmania and everywhere in between.

We offer specialist design services, engineering support and selection advice to ensure the customer gets the most suitable solution for their needs and is the first point of contact for customers establishing and maintaining strong positive, long-term relationships.

There is an immediate opening for an Internal Sales person to join our team in Queensland to expand and develop the customer and client base and experience. You will support and collaborate closely with customers to grow and promote Valves and associated products and services across Queensland.

The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values and culture – in addition to this you will have: 

  • You will provide extra ordinary customer service going above and beyond to meet their needs consistently
  • The ability to take ownership of the role and strengthen the team based culture within your environment
  • Maintain strong, positive relationships with current customers
  • Support the engineering team to ensure customer project requirements are met 
  • Competency with hand tools and manufacturing processes would be an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience with Valves a distinct advantage
  • Maintain and expand upon current John Valve product knowledge 

About the You

You will have at some knowledge or understanding of the valves or associated industry (pumping industry, pneumatics, hydraulics) and have sound customer service experience.

Your demonstrated success and enthusiasm in delivering sales service and support to customers and staff will be evident. 

Your great communication skills, sales knowledge, and ability to build relationships will see your success in this role.
